Shipping continues, and a Stormlight Archive Kickstarter

Another shipping update!
US orders have been shipping for over a week now and we're almost halfway through the batch! Many of these shipments are complex picks with LOTS of items in each order, so its taking our warehouse staff a bit of time to do each order. However, we're hoping to have everything out the door by the middle of next week.
Our Canadian fulfillment service is picking up the product this week and we hope to have those shipping in the next couple of weeks.
Asia will be underway soon, as they have everything they need.
Australia says the ship with the product is in port and they're figuring out where our games are.
UK/EU is still waiting for their ship...but they're hoping to see it soon.
As previously promised, we're holding back the launch of the game in any one zone's stores until all Kickstarter copies in that zone have shipped.
A New Kickstarter
As we wind down one Kickstarter, another begins! This time we're thrilled to announce a partnership with best-selling fantasy author Brandon Sanderson to offer miniatures and figurines for The Stormlight Archive. Featuring the heroes and villains of his epic series, each figure was crafted in collaboration with Sanderson and his team at Dragonsteel Entertainment. The pledges available on Kickstarter include 24 deluxe unpainted miniatures, 4 painted figurines, and a high-end 1:10 scale resin statue. The project was funded in less than five minutes and you can find it here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/brotherwise/stormlight-premium-miniatures?ref=user_menu

Shipping Begins!

Well met, adventurers! We’ve been busy since our last update, and we have good news to report today. Initial shipping beings tomorrow in the US, and we have some fun RPG content to share with all of you.
US Shipping Update
Our first shipments will be going out the door tomorrow to US backers! Our games spent some extra time in customs, but we’ve now gotten multiple truckloads of Epic Origins to our warehouse in Minnesota. Shipping starts this week and will continue over the next 3 weeks. You should receive a tracking email when yours goes out the door, but don't sweat if you don't see one for a couple weeks. This is a lot of games and it's going to take a while!
International Shipping Update
Around the world, our fulfillment partners are either waiting to get the games through customs or beginning to receive units in their warehouses. The next country to start shipping will (probably) be Canada, and other regional partners are getting ready. As we begin shipping in each region, we’ll share more updates!
Bonus TTRPG Content
If you enjoy tabletop RPGs, Call to Adventure has a fun hidden feature: it works as a character generation tool! This is something that has been in the “DNA” of the game since the original, and it comes to the forefront in Epic Origins.
First up is the conversion guide. This contains guidelines for how to build a character using any cards from Call to Adventure and Epic Origins. It’s compatible with any d20 system, but optimized for 5th Edition D&D.
We’ve also created an entirely new set of backgrounds and overlays. The new backgrounds provide classic fantasy character options like Runaway and Villager, along with unique roles like Artist and Retired Hero. The same PDF includes supernatural “overlays,” which are similar to 5e lineages but applicable to characters of any race.
You can download both of these PDFs, plus a custom character sheet, at our brand new Epic Origins 5e Conversion page!
Thank You!
We appreciate your support and patience as we’ve battled global shipping delays to get you this awesome game. Based on players' reactions to the demo copies at Gen Con, we think you're really going to love Epic Origins. It’s coming soon ...epic adventures await!
The Adventure Begins: Locking down addresses

Greetings, adventurers!
We're writing with good news. Games are beginning to arrive at the various fulfillment centers and we are in the throes of final fulfillment planning. Having said that, depending on where you live, we're still some ways out from shipping. Here's what's coming next, including some region-specific updates.
Address Lock Down
You will receive an email from BackerKit some time in the next few days. It will ask you to check your order and confirm your address. If you do not receive an email by Tuesday, please let us know here via Kickstartermessaging.
Shipment Updates
North America
Games have arrived in Los Angeles. They will still have to process through customs and then get trucked to our warehouse in Minnesota, but we expect fulfillment to begin within the next 3-4 weeks for US backers and in 4-6 weeks for Canadian backers. For US backers, the address you lock down in BackerKit will be the address we ship games to. You will not get another chance to change that. Canadian backers may get one more confirmation email from our fulfillment partner there.
UK and the EU
Games are on their way to our European partner from two different sites (Minnesota and China). We expect the shipments from both locations to arrive in about a month. Fulfillment should begin soon after that for the UK, and then a week or two later for the EU. Backers in these zones will likely have one last chance to update addresses via the fulfillment company right before shipping happens.
Australia
Games are also on their way to our Australian partner from two different sites (Minnesota and China). We expect the shipments from both locations to arrive in about 2-4 weeks. We're not yet sure when fulfillment will begin as it can take a while there to clear customs due to environmental inspections. We'll keep you posted. Backers in this zone will likely have one last chance to update addresses via the fulfillment company right before shipping happens.
Rest of the World
We'll be shipping some of these from the U.S. and some (mostly Latin American shipments) using our partner in Latin America. Timing will be variable because of that. Backers in these zones will likely not have any other chances to update addresses.
A Final Thank You
Next week we'll be showing off Call to Adventure at GenCon and taking preorders for the retail version of the game (which will ship after US Kickstarter orders have shipped). Our motto is "Games That Bring Everyone to the Table," and cons are a chance for us to see that motto in action. We're constantly amazed by the different skills, perspectives, preferences, and styles that each player brings to a game of Call to Adventure. To celebrate that, we'll be handing out an all new Heritage card: a genie-inspired race we're calling the Elemental.
But we didn't want you to feel left out, so we'll also be including a copy of this card with every copy of the game we send to backers!
That's all for now. Keep your eyes out for that Address email from BackerKit and reach out if you have any questions!
Epic Origins production & shipping update
over 2 years ago
– Thu, Jun 02, 2022 at 10:37:42 PM
Greetings, adventurers! We hope this email finds you well. With summer approaching, we wanted to share an update on the various products being produced for the Epic Origins Kickstarter.
The bottom line is that in spite of delays resulting from factory lockdowns, production is now complete on all components. Our cards, runes, and punchboards will soon be fully assembled and packaged.
The games themselves are in the last days of card sorting and envelope packing.
The card sleeves are printed and we're arranging shipments to the various zones.
The Folded Space inserts are complete and shipping is being arranged.
The next step is shipping to the various fulfillment zones. What does this mean for fulfillment timing? These days, that's a very tough question to answer. As it has been for the last two years, global shipping is highly unpredictable.
In our best case scenario, ALL product will make it to ALL fulfillment zones by the end of July. That would mean that fulfillment would begin sometime in August. But please note that we will most likely begin fulfillment for each zone when all the product has arrived to that zone; we will not delay fulfillment in one zone because another is slower. This can sometimes be frustrating for the slower zones, but please trust that we're doing our best to get everything to everyone as quickly as possible.
Updating Your Address
When we are close to fulfillment (and only then) we'll send out an email from Backerkit asking everyone to finalize their shipping address. This will happen only about 1-2 weeks before the first fulfillment begins. You don't need to take any action until we send that notice.
In Other News
We recently wrapped up our Kickstarter, a spatial puzzler where you lead a tiny kingdom and build Castles by the Sea. Player compete to find the optimal placement of 3D structures and meeples on a shared board while avoiding titanic hazards. If you missed it, you can still grab all the sandcastle-building goodness at our preorder store!
An Epic Time at Origins
Next week we're headed to Origins Game Fair in Columbus, Ohio. This is our first major game convention since 2019, and we're really excited for it. If you're there, be sure to drop by Booth 1000 and pay us a visit so we can thank you for being a backer. We'll have a couple of prototype copies of Epic Origins at the show, along with other upcoming titles like Castles by the Sea and Empire's End. Space is limited at our events, so head to our Origins 2022 page and click on a time slot to sign up for a demo. We hope to see you there!
Thanks for your support, and stay tuned for more details as we move forward with Epic Origins fulfillment.
Production Update and New Project!

Production Update
It's been about about six weeks since we last checked in, and we thought that now was a good time to give you a production update on Call to Adventure: Epic Origins. We're pleased to report that despite lockdowns across China, our printing partners are making excellent progress. All printing is finished and now assembly is underway! Here are some images from the production line so you can see how your favorite hero-building game comes together!
We're currently hoping to sea-ship product to the various fulfillment zones at the end of May. Transit will take between 30 and 45 days depending on the zone, but keep in mind that this is just getting the games to the fulfillment hub ports. From there there will be customs to get through, overland transport, then sorting and packaging at each of the hubs. This is a big project with multiple picks, so shipping from each hub can take between 1 and 3 weeks. We're not yet ready to make any delivery time predictions but we assure you that everyone is working as quickly as they can to get this game (and all the other goodies you ordered) to you this summer!
Castles by the Sea
If you follow our other projects, you've likely seen that Castles by the Sea is ending soon on Kickstarter. It's a wonderfully charming sandcastle-building game designed by Michael Xuereb and Jon Benjamin. We hope you'll take a look at it and consider backing it. If you're a fan of spatial puzzlers, this one is a really fresh and unique take on the genre. You can find it here.
